Store Update 1.37.0 adds Driftcoat variants while Embark investigates Seeker Grenade and Departure issues

Embark's July 14 Steam announcement says Store Update 1.37.0 is live on all platforms with two new Driftcoat outfit colour variants, black/green and red. Players who already own Driftcoat get both automatically, and Embark says no restart is required.

This is mostly a store and known-issues status update, not a released balance patch. The confirmed player-facing notes are that existing Driftcoat owners should see the new colours now, Seeker Grenades feeling weaker is tied to an unintended projectile-collision effect that Embark is still fixing, and the game signing players up for Departure after the 100,000-damage challenge is acknowledged as unintentional but not resolved yet.

Check your cosmetics if you already own Driftcoat, but do not treat the current Seeker Grenade behavior or automatic Departure signup as intended design. If either issue affects your runs, watch for the next official fix notice and avoid any duplication abuse because Embark says account actions and item removals are continuing this week.

Steam and Xbox storefronts are back at full US price

Storefront checks on July 12 show ARC Raiders listed at $39.99 with a 0% discount on Steam's Store API. Microsoft's US catalog for the Xbox/PC base game now also lists $39.99 as both the current list price and MSRP, with the Deluxe Edition listed at $59.99.

This is a storefront timing update, not a gameplay patch, balance pass, quest change, reward window, map update, or platform availability change. The previously verified Xbox/Microsoft $29.99 sale window has passed, so the useful action is purchase timing rather than loadout planning.

Official sound-design video shows how Embark builds ARC audio

ARC Raiders' official July 11 video is a short behind-the-scenes look at the process of designing ARC sounds. The description frames it as a peek at how the team creates ARC audio and asks players whether they recognize which ARC makes the showcased noises.

This is a community and development-flavor video, not a gameplay patch, balance pass, quest change, map update, reward window, or store rotation. The useful takeaway is audio recognition: the clip is a quick reminder that ARC sound cues can matter during play.

THE FINALS crossover now unlocks ARC Raiders Azimuth rewards through July 30

ARC Raiders' official July 9 post confirms the Embark summer crossover is live: complete a set of Contracts in THE FINALS to unlock the Azimuth outfit and Archaeologist backpack bundle in ARC Raiders.

This is a cross-game cosmetic reward window, not a weapon balance pass, quest update, map change, or ARC tuning change. The newly useful detail is the end date: the ARC Raiders reward path is available until July 30.

Summary

Hotfix 1.36.1 has been pushed on all platforms to mitigate a duplication issue and fix an Expedition screen bug that showed Skill Points instead of Mystery Rewards for players on their fourth Expedition.

Player Impact

Restart ARC Raiders to download the hotfix before your next raid. This does not change weapon balance, quest objectives, map rules, or reward-track structure; it mainly corrects the fourth-Expedition reward display and mitigates duplication behavior that Embark says can still lead to bans when exploited for significant advantage.
