Riven Tides map
Coastal Rust Belt zone with the Exodus port, abandoned shoreline, and Panorama Azzurro hotel. Treat it as the priority content chase for map routes, loot notes, and key-room intel.
Fast prep for the new ARC Raiders shoreline map: what changed, what to bring, and how to route around Beachcombing, ARC Turbine pressure, and Last Resort event farming.

Riven-exclusive treasure hunts on the beaches. Bring Dockmaster's Detector when you are specifically chasing buried treasure instead of pure combat value.
A floating ARC machine introduced with Riven Tides. Until field data is complete, plan for vertical sightlines, cover discipline, and anti-ARC burst damage.
Earn merits through XP and ship model collection across maps. Useful for returning users because it gives a clear weekly reason to check what to farm.
Official update watch
Embark says ARC Raiders is moving from monthly major updates to two larger major updates per year, while regular live updates, balance fixes, bug fixes, store updates, and player events continue. Frozen Trail is now the next major update planned for October with the largest map so far, a new ARC Operation, new progression systems, an improved Skill Tree, and new weapons, items, instruments, cosmetics, and ARC-origin story beats. The confirmed near-term gameplay change is a new level 25 trader arriving next week. The trader exchanges high-value items for rotating weekly rewards, rare items, cosmetics, extra stash space, and an Expedition Vault perk that can carry up to five items into a new Expedition. No weapon numbers, quest objectives, item values, specific rewards, or map-route details were published in this article. Hold loadout math until patch notes land, but start sorting high-value items and Expedition carry-over candidates now. Treat Frozen Trail details as roadmap planning only until Embark publishes exact systems, enemies, item stats, and patch notes.

New-user friendly field kit
Common gadget
Bring for Beachcombing
Purpose-built for beach treasure hunts. Low direct combat value, high event/condition value when Riven Tides rolls Beachcombing.
Epic gadget
Bring for vertical routes
Best for hotel, crane, and port movement where dropping from height would normally force a slow or risky rotate.
Uncommon throwable
Squad reposition tool
A safer emergency drop option for teams rotating off rooftops, balconies, cranes, or exposed overlook positions.
Common deployable
Situational diplomacy
Low-cost signal tool for solos, quest runners, and extraction standoffs. Not a substitute for cover, but useful for social reads.
New augment
Extract and revive cover
Likely strongest for disengage routes, exposed beach crossings, and revives when direct fighting is not the win condition.
Check Patch Watch for live Riven changes before queueing.
If Beachcombing is active, bring Dockmaster's Detector and enough mobility/cover to survive open shoreline searches.
For first runs, favor low-noise loot routes until ARC Turbine weak spots and patrol behavior are better verified.
Use shareable map links to send a planned route to your duo or squad before launch.
Start with the map planner, choose the safest extract path, then add key rooms only if your squad has the right kit.
If Beachcombing is active, switch from pure loot routes to treasure-search prep and bring Dockmaster's Detector.
Until ARC Turbine behavior is fully mapped, bring cover, mobility, and enough anti-ARC burst damage to disengage from bad shoreline fights.
Squad prep
Planner links now keep the selected map, route, POI, and visible overlays in the URL so squads can open the same setup.
